Former Strikeforce heavyweight Brett Rogers claims he is innocent of all charges stemming from a June 28 arrest in Apple Valley, Minn.
Rogers' legal counsel today released a statement professing the fighter's belief he is not guilty of the three felonies and one gross misdemeanor filed against him following an alleged altercation with his wife.
"As in all criminal matters, Mr. Rogers is presumed innocent until and if he is proven guilty," the statement from Mohammad & Jaafar-Mohammad, LLC read. "Mr. Rogers asserts his innocence in this matter and is confident that the facts of what happened will vindicate his assertion of innocence."
